Media Relations
The purpose of the Public Information Officer is to promote and maintain communications between the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office, the citizens of Nolan County, and the news media. The Public Information Officer works closely with the media to disseminate information in a timely fashion that may be of significant interest to the public. Responsibilities also include writing news releases, responding to media inquiries, maintaining a social media presence, and organizing special events such as news conferences.

Requests for inmate booking photos: If the individual is currently in custody at the Nolan County jail, use Citizen Connect. For former inmates, email their name, DOB, charges, and any other relevant details to assist your search.
