Inmate Work Program

The Nolan County Sheriff’s Office offers an inmate work program for qualifying inmates within the facility. The program is in place to facilitate completion of many tasks, such as laundry services, preparation of inmate meals, trash collection and disposal, general housekeeping and tasks at select off-site locations. Participation in the inmate work program is entirely voluntary, and no inmate is compelled to take part. Inmates who choose to join this program may earn work credit that can be applied toward their county jail sentence.
