Reserve Deputies
Nolan County Reserve Deputies are professionally trained and fully licensed Peace Officers who provide assistance enforcing the laws and serving the citizens of Nolan County. Reserve Deputies provide their services with no compensation in return. Many provide these services while holding full time jobs. Our Reserve Deputies make a commitment to participate 12 hours per month.

If you would like to pursue an opportunity as a Reserve Deputy, you must hold a current Texas Peace Officer license issued by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE). If you are not currently licensed as a Texas Peace Officer, the Basic Peace Officer course is available through the West Central Texas Law Enforcement Academy.
Reserve Detention Officers
Nolan County Reserve Detention Officers are professionally trained and fully licensed Texas Jailers. They are dedicated individuals who work alongside full-time Detention Officers.

If you would like to pursue an opportunity as a Reserve Detention Officer, you must hold a current Texas Jailer license issued by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE). If you are not currently licensed as a Texas Jailer the Basic Corrections Officer course is available through the West Central Texas Law Enforcement Academy.
