Service Pins Awarded to Nolan County Sheriff's Office Employees

During the Nolan County Commissioners Court meeting on Monday, July 28, 2025, two employees of the Nolan County Sheriff's Office were honored with service pins. Mary Fuentes was recognized for her ten years of service and Maria Martinez was recognized for her five years of service.
Jailer Fuentes is assigned to the jail division, ensuring the protection and welfare of those incarcerated within, and the safety and security of the facility. Meanwhile, Deputy Sheriff Martinez serves in the patrol division, and is responsible for the coverage of approximately 914 square miles of rural county area.
"Today we celebrate Jailer Fuentes and Deputy Sheriff Martinez for their dedication and hard work. These two women contribute significantly not only to the day-to-day operations of the Sheriff's Office but also to the people who they serve. Thank you both for your years of service and keep up the great work!" said Sheriff James Villanueva
