Capital Murder Suspect Arrested

The Nolan County Sheriff’s Office has recently been assisting the Snyder Police Department and Texas Rangers in the ongoing murder investigation of Justin Vaughn, of Snyder. After the arrests of Christopher Devon Boyd and Ray Anthony Gutierrez in Nolan County, the Midland County Sheriff's Office reported that a third suspect, Jammie Akeem Pruitt, 26, was also arrested on a Capital Murder charge for the death of Justin Vaughn. On Friday, February 26, 2016, after receiving information that Pruitt was inside a Midland home, surveillance was setup and his presence was verified. At approximately 4:30PM, members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force took Pruitt into custody in the 900 block of College Avenue, without incident.
