Sheriff James Villanueva swears in new Detention Officer

On Monday, February 3, 2025, Sheriff James Villanueva had the honor of administering the oath to Jerry “JC” Watts, who has recently been appointed as a Detention Officer at the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office.

JC is already familiar with the demands of this role, having previously served as a detention officer at the Nolan County jail, bringing valuable experience to his new position.

The ceremonial badge presentation took place in the presence of his supportive colleagues, marking an important milestone in JC’s career.
