Sheriff James Villanueva swears in new Detention Officer

Sheriff James Villanueva swore in a new Detention Officer on Monday, February 3, 2025. Christin Reed took the oath of office and received her badge in the presence of her husband and co-workers to commemorate this special occasion.

New to law enforcement, Christin is eager to begin her role at the Nolan County Jail. Her enthusiasm and dedication are a welcome addition to our team, and we look forward to her valuable contributions.

Her husband, Jeffery Reed, a Criminal Investigator with the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office, had the honor of pinning her badge.
