The Nolan County Jail has successfully passed a rigorous inspection by the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, with no deficiencies identified. The Texas Commission on Jail Standards is the governing body overseeing county jails throughout the State of Texas.

The jail inspection, conducted yesterday, Monday, June 30, 2025, involved a comprehensive evaluation of all aspects of jail operations.
