A new Deputy Sheriff will be patrolling the streets of Nolan County

Sheriff David Warren swore in Deputy Thomas Pohlman on Thursday, November 30, 2017. Deputy Pohlman spent many years as a peace officer in the state of Oregon before relocating to Texas where he and his wife now operate a horse rescue. Deputy Pohlman wanted to return to law enforcement and attended the West Central Texas Law Enforcement Academy in Abilene where he was among a total of 24 cadets who graduated training on August 30, 2017, acquiring the title, Texas Peace Officer. We wish Deputy Pohlman the best and look forward to his service.
