The execution of a high-risk search warrant landed two people in jail Wednesday night

On Wednesday, October 28, 2015, members of the Nolan County Sheriff's Office, Department of Public Safety and U.S. Marshals Service executed a federal search warrant in the 600 block of East New Mexico, in Sweetwater. Taken into custody was Leonard Linton Hill, of Sweetwater and Donald Ray Redeau, of Louisiana. A search of the residence followed that lead to the discovery and seizure of a large quantity of narcotics, paraphernalia and firearms. Officers then traveled to the 1600 block of Grand Avenue, in Sweetwater where Rodney Earl Lipscomb, of Louisiana was taken into custody. All three men were arrested and transported to the Nolan County jail where they will be held on a combined total of seventeen (17) federal charges.
