Suspicious fires continue to plague Roscoe area

Nolan County residents - the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office, Roscoe Volunteer and Sweetwater Fire Departments have responded to several incidents in and around the Roscoe Community, some involving structure fires in the last two months. Please be alert to suspicious activity and report your observations. All fires still burning small or large should be reported immediately by dialing 9-1-1. Fires that are out and with damage of charring should be reported as suspicious activity by calling the Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number (325) 235-5471. The Nolan County Sheriff’s Office and Crime Stoppers is asking for your assistance to help locate the person(s) responsible for these crimes. If you have information, call the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office at 325.235.5471 or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 325.235.TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online. Nolan County Crime Stoppers offers a reward of up to $1,000.00 for information that leads to the arrest and filing of charges against the person(s) responsible for this crime, and a reward of up to $1,000.00 for any other unsolved felony crime.
