NCSO Staff receive Mental Health and First-Aid Training

Members of our jail staff and administrators successfully completed specialized training provided by West Texas Centers. This mandatory training took place over a two-day period, and covered training in first-aid, crisis intervention, as well as general behavioral health.

This training is crucial and designed to help our staff identify, de-escalate situations and interact effectively with individuals experiencing mental health crises. We are focused on continuous training, improvement and creating a supportive environment for everyone at the Sheriff’s Office.
