Martin McDonell sworn in as Reserve Deputy

On Monday, May 19, 2025, Sheriff James Villanueva administered the oath of office to Martin McDonell, an active Reserve Deputy Sheriff at the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office.

Martin is currently employed full-time as the District Chief with the Texas Division of Emergency Management, and volunteers his time with the Roscoe Volunteer Fire Department where he's earned the title of Captain/EMT. His commitment to our community is evident from his earlier role with the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office as County Jailer, Patrol Deputy and now as a Reserve Deputy in the Patrol Division.

We are glad to have Martin as part of our team, where he continues to make significant contributions to our public safety and emergency response efforts. His passion for serving the community truly inspires us all!
